To many non-believers of dressing, of course its what’s
inside that counts. This thinking is key to self improvement. But the problem
starts when one stops critical thinking, by default and starts believing that,
“it’s what’s inside that counts” is the absolute truth, rather than being
creative and enjoying clothing from the inside-out.
As some believe, even by default that dressing is not
important and its what’s inside that counts, others who practice a different
social construct and dress see dressing as important. The best position to take is the simplest that
we are often blind to. Clothing is color texture, depth and detail that have a degree
of harmony in those qualities to frame our manners and create a cohesive entity
with the outside world. Often there is a disconnect of how we visually appear
and our behavior and that is human, although not impactful or generous. Humans
can be static or dynamic. Once we choose dynamic, performance and presence we
take another point of perception, that is what is. We see colour, texture depth
and detail. We see a context as well as this content. That takes in the whole
person and how we react or proactively acknowledge.
Plato said “A life unexamined is not worth living”, and
today we have so many distractions that prevent us from reflecting from going
forward that many who fail do so without the ritual of reflection. They life in
a casual-without-agenda=casuality existence and blame the world at large.
Deep dressing is one of those private rituals of living day
to day, building better habits and faying forward that tithe that completes the
circle of your daily success.
